Ventura County Fusion is delighted to announce the appointment of Keith Costigan as the Head Coach of the USL2 team, further solidifying our commitment to excellence in player development and competitive soccer.
Costigan, currently serving as the MLS Next Academy Director and Head Coach of the U17 and U19 teams, will continue with those positions in addition to being the USL2 Head Coach. Keith brings his wealth of experience, tactical acumen, and passion for player development to the USL2 side. This dual role emphasizes Ventura County Fusion's dedication to nurturing young talent and providing a seamless pathway from the academy to higher levels of competition.

Costigan, a respected figure in the soccer community, has an extensive background in coaching and player development. His coaching resume is of the highest level possible including Uefa A License, Uefa A Youth Elite, USSF A License, USSF Academy Directors and a Masters in Coaching. Currently completing a Sports MBA at University of Liverpool. As well as coaching, Costigan is also considered one of the top play by play commentators for AppleTV's MLS Coverage. As Head Coach of the U17 and U19 teams, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of young talents within the organization. Now, he will take on the added responsibility of guiding the Ventura County Fusion USL2 team to new heights.
