In the midst of great anticipation, the 2017 MLS SuperDraft was held, the dream of every college prospect who aspires to MLS professional football. Three Fusion players were drafted in the MLS Superdraft this past weekend.
Ventura County Fusion striker Abu Danladi was drafted No. 1 overall in the Major League Soccer SuperDraft by Minnesota United FC.
Midfielder Joe Holland was drafted 10th overall by the Houston Dynamo. The midfielder led the Fusion with seven goals in 11 matches last season.
Striker Nick Depuy, was selected 19th overall by the Montreal Impact.
